KONDO Katsunori is a Japanese scholar in the field of social welfare. He is Professor at Chiba University and Visiting Professor at Nippon Welfare University. He graduated from the School of Medicine, Chiba University, in 1983 and received a PhD in Medicine from Chiba University in 1999. After working at Nippon Welfare University and Kent University, he was appointed Professor at Chiba University in 2014. He is renowned for his theory that social disparities cause health disparities.
