TOKITA-TANABE Yumiko is Visiting Researcher at the National Museum of Ethnology. Her research fields include educational sociology, cultural anthropology and folklore, and she has conducted fieldwork in India. She completed her PhD at the University of Tokyo and went on to work as Assistant Professor in the Graduate School of Human Sciences, Osaka University. She served as Specially Appointed Associate Professor and Visiting Researcher at Osaka University before taking up her current position.
